It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Angela McLaughlin, who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family on February 14, 2026. Angela's passing marks the end of a remarkable journey filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A life well-lived
Angela, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, will be deeply missed by her children Charlene, Eugene, Sean, Aoife, Caitlin, and Rhys. She was a devoted mother-in-law to Daniel, Dearbhaila, Kerry, Brendan, and Carrie, and a loving grandmother to Chantelle, Ryan, Kacie, Kyle, Rian, Clodagh, Aoibheann, Beau, and Dara. Her siblings, Michael, Marian, Eileen, Jeanette, Carmel, Danny, John, Cathy, Denis, and Brian, as well as the late Collette, will forever cherish the bond they shared.
A final farewell
Angela's remains will be laid to rest at her late home, 39 Ballymagowan Avenue, where a private wake will be held from 10 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 15. The funeral will depart from the same location on Tuesday, February 17, at 9:15 a.m., making its way to St. Mary's Church, Creggan, for a 10 a.m. Requiem Mass. Following the mass, a cremation service will take place at Lakeland's Crematorium, Co. Cavan, at 3:30 p.m.
