Big news for fitness enthusiasts! Apple Fitness+ has just expanded its reach, hitting 28 new countries in a massive international rollout. This is the most significant expansion of the service since its launch, bringing the joy of guided workouts to a whole new global audience.
The service is now available in exciting locations like Norway, Poland, the Philippines, and Vietnam, to name a few. Japan is slated to join the party early next year, further broadening the service's availability to a total of 49 countries. You can find the complete list in Apple's press release.
But here's where it gets interesting: Apple is introducing digitally generated voice dubbing in Spanish and German, with Japanese coming soon. This means users can now enjoy their workouts in their preferred language, thanks to a system that creates voices modeled after the trainers themselves. Before this, only subtitles were available for non-English speakers.
And this is the part most people miss: Apple is also adding a brand-new K-Pop music genre to the service! This joins existing categories like Upbeat Anthems and Latin Grooves, offering even more variety to your workout playlists.
Before today's expansion, Fitness+ was already available in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, and the UK.
