First responders, gather around! Mistie Hill Vineyard is throwing a BBQ bash this Sunday, August 9th, to celebrate and honor the brave men and women who keep our communities safe. But it's not just about the food and drinks (though there will be plenty of those). This event is a chance to connect with the very people who put their lives on the line every day, and it's a unique opportunity to show your appreciation.
The BBQ will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at the Tasting Room of Mistie Hill Vineyard, located in the heart of Will County. It's a chance to mingle with firefighters, police officers, and emergency personnel from Braidwood, Wilmington, Coal City, and the Will County Sheriff's Department. And if you're a first responder yourself, you're in for a treat! You'll receive two free food and drink tickets, allowing you to indulge in the delicious spread.
But it's not just about the fun and games. Mistie Hill Vineyard is also giving back to the community. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the 100 Club of Will County, a charitable organization that supports the families of first responders who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It's a way to ensure that the legacy of these brave individuals lives on.
